River Crake
Southern Lake District...

Trip report:
Crake 29/10/11 Al, Grace and Dave T showed up for a drive down to the Crake. The river was at a decent level for showing all its features and we were able to play on most of the waves. No ducking was required under Spark Bridge, which Al managed very well with an additional canoe paddle (bonus find in the undergrowth spotted by Dave). As we were getting out by Greenodd garage we were surprised by a passing bore, which raised the level by 1-2 ft in seconds. All in all a pleasant trip.
