Pool sessions...
8.00pm at Copeland Pool, as from 23 May we will run 2 sessions, 2000 - 2100 and 2100 - 2200. This will give more time in each session as numbers have reduced due to more people being outside. Prices are trhe same!

We hope to update this regularly, current date for it is 16-May-2017. It includes school holiday dates for 2017-19 as well. Members are asked to help us fill in dates with events they will run...

Outdoor trips

These are weather dependent, very much so in the case of river trips!
Members are encouraged to check for themselves things such as weather conditions before paddling.

External events

Our local BC group have a number of events for women, sea kayaking and open boating organised for 2017, other clubs in the area often send us information regarding events they have organised. Our external events page has details.

Our friends at the Whitehaven Harbour Youth Project have sent some information regarding an interesting project at Whitehaven Harbour. Our external events page has more information.

Future Events

28 May - Silloth to Annan paddle. Check with Mark Jones, sea kayaks needed and paddlers should be at least 3 Star level.
Andy has booked Scarness on Bassenthwaite Lake for a Club Weekend, 8 and 9 July. Download the Scarness information and booking form.

Club Subscriptions for 2017
Many thanks to those who have renewed. Those that haven't are reminded that their subscriptions are due for renewal now.

The 2017 leaflets are available,
subscription prices are the same as last year. You can now pay by direct bank transfer, details on the forms.

Waterways and Environment

Be aware...

Spring has arrived but it is still cool out there! The sea temperature is roughly 9 - 10C, Lakes a little warmer... It can still be cold in windy conditions so please ensure you have enough clothing to keep you warm and carry safety gear as well as food / drink... The sun is strong enough to give some skin damage so take sun cream with you! The Midges have arrived on their holidays from Scotland... Be careful out there...
