Annual General Meeting 2007:

The Club's AGM was held at The Beacon, Whitehaven, on 19th November 2007

25 members attended a useful and successful meeting which resulted in a number of people volunteering to help the club in various ways. Andy stays on as Chairman, with Gwen as Treasurer and Alastair as Secretary.

Joe and Alison continue the good work with Child Protection, Ewan will coordinate the pool activities, Ian will try to make sense of outdoor activities, Mike and Kevin will look after equipment and Ryan and Andy will attempt to communicate....

We also took the decision to register and work towards CLUBMARK.

We are now registered as of December 2007 and will be working towards this goal in 2008. This will be a visible sign of our commitment to quality instruction and caring for all our members.
