19 April - we have been invited to Derwentwater Marina for a start of season open evening.
25 April - if the weather will allow, we start outdoor paddling on Tuesdays.
26 April - Tiger Boat races at Derwentwater Marina, courtesy of West Cumbria Canoe Club.
30 April - Wavehopper Races at Carlisle, beside the Sands Centre. Courtesy of Carlisle Canoe Club.
Andy has booked Scarness on Bassenthwaite Lake for a Club Weekend, 8 and 9 July. More details to follow.
Club Subscriptions for 2017
Many thanks to those who have renewed already. Those that haven't are politely reminded that their subscriptions are due for renewal now.
Spring has arrived but it is still cold out there! The sea temperature is roughly 8C... It can be very cold in windy conditions so please ensure you have enough clothing to keep you warm and carry safety gear as well as food / drink... Be careful out there...
