Based in Whitehaven on the western edge of the Lake District of England our club enjoys some of the best canoeing in the UK, from lake and sea paddling to exhilarating river and surf kayaking. Our Club's Annual General Meeting will take place at "The Harbour", the Harbour Project, Swingpump Lane, Whitehaven, on Wednesday 19th November, 7.00pm for a 7.30pm start. Food will be provided and the meeting will be followed by a slide show of the last year's activities.

• Friday 28th November, Fundraising "Race night" at the Haven Club, Hensingham. Starts 7.30. Tickets £2.00 Refreshments provided.
